Mean-field kinetic theory analysis of vapor flow between evaporating and condensing interfaces in the presence of non-condensable gas molecules

To investigate the vapor kinetic boundary condition (which is for Boltzmann equation) in presence of a non-condensable (NC) gas at non-equilibrium liquid interface, we performed numerical simulations (condensable gas) and NC mixture flows. The Enskog–Vlasov direct simulation Monte Carlo method (EVDSMC method) was utilized this two-surface problem to obtain evaporation condensation coefficients, which represent vapor–molecule rates, respectively. These coefficients are incorporated condition. results showed that decrease with increasing numbers NC-gas molecules interface same tendency. validity these also obtained equation analysis. Hence, concluded simply depend on number density if temperature constant. Thus, they independent or equilibrium state, therefore, coefficient values state can be used analysis state. This finding will aid future predictions flows gas.
